Terms of Service

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Where Do I Send This Thing?, a service operated by Wildcard ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the service. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals and businesses.

2. What the service does

Where Do I Send This Thing? helps you send personalized physical mail. You supply the people you want to reach, as LinkedIn profile URLs, as a CSV, or with mailing addresses you already have. We look up and verify a mailing address, gather public business context, design a card for each person, and, once you approve it, print or hand-write the card and mail it through our fulfilment partners.

3. Account registration

To use the service you must create an account with a valid email address, name, and password. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account and your team's accounts

4. Credits, payment, and refunds

The service is pay as you go. There is no subscription. You buy credits in advance and spend them when cards are mailed: a printed card costs 1 credit and a handwritten card costs 2. A credit is only consumed when a card you approved is accepted for mailing. Designing, researching, and previewing cards does not spend credits, and credits do not expire.

Purchases are processed by a third-party payment processor and are charged in US dollars. Because credits are consumed at the moment a card is committed to production, credits spent on cards already accepted for mailing are not refundable. Unused credits can be refunded at our discretion. Enterprise customers may instead be invoiced under a separate written agreement.

5. Your responsibilities

When using the service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate prospect information and accurate return address details
  • Use addresses and contact data obtained through the service only for lawful purposes
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection and marketing laws
  • Honor opt-out requests from the people you mail
  • Not use the service for harassment, stalking, threats, or any illegal contact
  • Not send content that is defamatory, deceptive, obscene, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • Not upload images or logos you do not have the right to use
  • Not attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service or its data without our written consent

You are responsible for the content of the cards you approve. Nothing is printed or mailed until you approve it, and approval is your confirmation that the card is accurate and appropriate to send.

6. Data accuracy disclaimer

Addresses and contact information provided through the service are delivered on an "as-is" basis. We use multiple sources and verification methods, and each recommendation comes with a confidence score, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any address or contact record. Address information may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. It is your responsibility to check an address before relying on it for anything critical, such as legal service, regulatory filings, or time-sensitive deliveries.

7. Printing and delivery

Cards are produced and mailed by third-party fulfilment partners and delivered by postal carriers. Delivery times are estimates and are outside our control. We are not responsible for mail that is delayed, lost, damaged, or returned by the carrier. If a card is not produced because of a fault on our side, we will restore the credits it consumed.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, including its software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by Wildcard and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you submit and of the card designs and messages created for your campaigns. You grant us the license needed to process that content in order to run the service and produce your mail. We retain ownership of aggregated, de-identified insights and platform improvements generated through operation of the service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildcard and its officers, directors, employees, and representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or connected to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate an account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or abusive activity, or extended inactivity. On termination your right to use the service ends immediately and we may delete account data after a reasonable period. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wildcard and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the content of the cards you approve, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms by posting the revised version on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.
